Happy Easter Resurrection Day

“Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.” (Luke 22:43)

Feeling Alone

Leaders are like pioneers. They discover new territory; helping others follow to make it productive and beneficial for mankind.

At times they feel alone.

Jesus felt alone in the Garden of Gethsemane. He was about to open up a new territory to man called the Kingdom of God.

Hours before he was betrayed, beaten and crucified his entire team abandoned him.

Every leader who does something significant in business for God’s Kingdom experiences a Gethsemane… times when they feel alone.

Light Penetrates Dark Nights

Gethsemane is a place where…

  • Spiritual battles take place
  • Loneliness is felt
  • Honesty is expressed
  • Humility is gained
  • Strength is received
  • Death is faced

It is through these “dark nights of the soul” that your vision is refined, your focus is sharpened and your resolve is intensified with the Light that shines in darkness!

Death Comes Before A Happy Easter Resurrection

No one likes to admit it, but often we have to allow our original plan to die a painful death. Painful because it looks like failure. It looks like it was a bad idea. It hurts our pride.

But death must come and we must be willing to lay our ambitions in the tomb. Then we roll the stone to close it and seal it the best we know how.

Perfect Timing

Three days is not a long time. When we finally allow the death of our original idea… and any plans we have to bring it to life, it isn’t long before God raises it from the dead.

It is raised incorruptible. It takes on supernatural qualities. It becomes more than the old dead thing could ever be. God is glorified.

As a business leader you will have opportunity to open new territory that brings life, joy and hope to others. Your Gethsemane is where you find the strength you’ll need to do it by faith.

Remember Jesus’ victory over darkness- His RESURRECTION!
